Mountain View Tees is a small, home-based business rooted in the ridges and rhythms of Paw Paw, West Virginia. What began as a way to support my family during a difficult season has grown into a creative studio where Appalachian pride, small-town storytelling, and handmade craftsmanship come together.
Every design, every shirt, every product is created right here in our home — thoughtfully, carefully, and with the kind of attention to detail that only comes from truly loving what you do.
Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Emma — the hands, heart, and slightly off-kilter T-shirt behind Mountain View Tees.
I’ve always been crafty. Growing up, we didn’t have much, so creativity was our currency. Holidays meant homemade decorations. Gifts meant cookies, doll clothes, and whatever else we could dream up with what we had. That early improvising shaped who I am today: someone who believes that handmade things carry a little extra magic.
I married my high school sweetheart in 1996, and life took us on a journey full of highs, lows, and everything in between. When my husband became too sick to work, I turned my lifelong love of crafting into a small business — something that allowed me to support our family while staying home to care for him.
I still live close to where I was born and raised. I see my dad every day. I lost my mom in 2018, and crafting remains one of the ways I stay connected to her and find peace when life gets heavy.
When I’m not creating, I work part-time delivering meals to homebound seniors through our local senior center — a job that fills my heart as much as any creative project. My seniors are family.

Everything you see here at Mountain View Tees is made or printed by hand in our little home studio. I take pride in:
